In the 1880's as the goldrush in nearby Copeland ended, our old weatherboard farm Cottage was hauled by bullock dray to her current location on the banks of the Barrington River.  We hope you will enjoy this gentle friend

Word on the street is that when the Old Schoolmaster retired to this historic Cottage he brought the old corrugated iron school hall with him.   You can see why he wanted to retire here - peace, privacy and the spectacular outlook: uninterrupted views up to the Buccan Buccans (the Bucketts Mountains) and over working river flats

3 easy hours drive north of Sydney, under 1.5 hours from Newcastle and an easy 10 minute drive from Gloucester

3 bedrooms (2 queens and 2 singles - sleeps up to 6 guests).  Linen provided.

2 bathrooms (one full bathroom with bath, shower recess and toilet) and one with a separate toilet

Reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout

Slow combustion wood fire (firewood supplied during the winter months)

Fully equipped kitchen with Miele oven and dishwasher, large fridge, microwave, and cooktop

Gas BBQ on a large covered outside verandah

The perfect basecamp to immerse yourself in the surrounds, visit the Barrington and Gloucester Tops or to simply take the time to cherish a restorative and reviving break from the busyness of life
